Attention
An alert to all Elizabeth
Township Residents.
Recently, neighboring communities have been experiencing "home invasion
robberies". The suspects have been posing as utility company employees.
They are described as: two Hispanic males, both 5' 8" tall, weighing about
170 lbs. One looks to be approximately 30 years old, while the other could be 40
years old. One will approach the resident to distract them, while the other
ransacks the house. They have also used force to gain entry and assault
residents who try to stop them. They speak to each other in Spanish, sometimes
using two way radios. DO NOT let anyone into your home until you are sure
of who they are. If anything seems suspicious, close and lock the door, and dial
911 for police. We will be glad to check out any situation that you feel is
suspicious or not quite right.
